At the heart of this branding initiative was the dual goal of breathing new life into the packaging while honoring the profound historical significance of Frida Kahlo. To achieve this, Sagon-Phior set out to center the packaging design around a captivating historical portrait of Frida Kahlo, as well as incorporating her vibrant colors and symbolism. Given that tequila holds an impressive 18% market share among adults aged 25-34, it was crucial to capture the youthful spirit of this demographic through the packaging, imagery, and graphics.
