Novella Infusion

Patient-First Approach Fuels Growth and Expansion

Novella Infusion, a leading provider of outpatient infusion services in the Northeast, U.S., sought to reimagine the patient experience by making it more approachable and comforting. They aimed to expand their network of centers nationally and build stronger relationships with referring physicians.

Challenge

Biologic infusion therapy can be intimidating for patients. The treatment process needed to feel less daunting, more accessible, and focus on patient care first.

A laptop displays a website with a header for Novello Infusion. The screen shows an image of a nurse smiling at an elderly woman. Text reads, "Patients Deserve a Better Infusion Experience" and "Caring. Convenience." There are navigation options above.
Two digital tablets display a healthcare website with images of medical professionals and patients. The layout includes text, menus, and call-to-action buttons in blue and white colors.

Solution

Messaging was developed to focus on key attributes: caring, comfort, and convenience. We captured this in the tagline, “A Better Infusion Experience, Close To Home.” The new website featured clear, patient-friendly language explaining the infusion process. Descriptions of inviting treatment areas helped patients feel more relaxed. An emphasis on convenience, free parking and flexible scheduling, reduced patient stress.

We targeted healthcare providers, showcasing Novella’s outpatient centers as a more accessible, cost-effective alternative to hospital-based therapy. New content on the referral process made it easier for doctors to recommend Novella.

Results

Patient confidence increased, leading to more inquiries and appointments. They reported feeling informed and reassured. Healthcare provider relationships strengthened, generating an increase in referrals. Doctors felt assured their patients would receive the care they deserved.

Novella’s network expanded beyond the Northeast boosting visibility and attracting more patients and partnerships. The patient experience and referral program drove new business growth, laying a foundation for continuing expansion.
